The club represented the Far South Coast along with other regional NSW clubs including Ulladulla and Shoalhaven Heads.
Competitors travelled from all Australian states as well as some competitors from as far away as Japan.
Saturday’s competition was for the juniors and cadets where Amelie Gautier competed in two divisions and came second in both to be awarded the silver medals.
Jonathon Smith received the third-place bronze medal in his division.
Bodin Smith competed and won his division, making him the 2018 Australian Kodokan National Champion for his age.
Raedon Smith also claimed national champion status for winning his division.
“They were all in very highly contested divisions with some members having six and seven competitors and bouts,” a Yuukan Bega spokesperson said.
“This is a sensational achievement not only individual, but also as a club from Bega.
“These results are a reflection of the hard work in training that our members put in and we are proud of each of you individually and as a club in these results at national level.”
Yuukan Judo Club Bega members train on Thursdays at 5pm.
