Segrae William Fry, formerly of Bega, faced Bega Local Court on Tuesday, October 9 via audio visual link from the Batemans Bay Court cells.
Police allege Fry seriously assaulted another man on Daisy Hill Rd in Buckajo on September 13 this year, before fleeing the scene.
Fry was arrested on October 6 and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, drive conveyance without consent and using an offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention.
Magistrate Philip Stewart adjourned the case to Bega Local Court on Tuesday, December 11.
