After Dreamcoat Theatre Productions’ success of Joseph and His Technicolour, the Bega Valley Shire can finally get excited for another production that will be remembered for a lifetime.
The Disney musical production, Tarzan, combines the talent of age groups 12 – 60. Complete with a live orchestra, the show will take the audience on a journey through the jungles of Africa.
The cast have been busy and are deep into rehearsals with director Tori Cordova chipping away at each scene.
“We are five weeks into rehearsals, everyone has put in many hours of work. It is really coming along well and I can’t wait for it to all come together, it is going to be amazing,” she said.
The News Weekly was privileged to capture a sneak peek of Hayley Fragnito (Jane) and John Fitzmaurice (Tarzan) as they rehearsed in the Lumen Christi Catholic College hall on Wednesday, October 10.
Tickets go on sale November 1, and the show will light up Twyford Hall from Nov 30th-Dec 15th!
Excess profits from the production will be donated to the Sapphire Coast Advocates For Social Justice to support women and children escaping domestic violence.
