What is loved and back again at this year’s event is the V8 simulators, snakes and crocodiles, and the amazing flair team riders who are visiting all the way from Queensland.
“The flair guys are super cool, they do some amazing stunts and have even worked with Vin Diesel,” Motorfest treasurer Jessica Porter said.
New added excitement at this year’s Motorfest includes an eight metre high rock climbing wall and a rocker cover car racing event. To find out the rules on how to create your own rocker cover car visit the Motorfest Facebook page.
Ms Porter said “the day is for the whole family – not just for dad.”
“There will be stalls to enjoy and plenty of food options,” Ms Porter said.
Have you thought about adding another car to your fleet…you might find one for sale in the Swap Meet.
And then you have the Show and Shine element of the event – rows of eye dazzling cars on display for motor heads to feast on. Some describe the Show and Shine as the chrome de la crème.

“Some of the best cars will be on show, so much money has been spent on a lot of them.
“It is very shiny, a lot of chrome – the motto is don’t leave your chrome at home,” Ms Porter chuckled.
Ms Porter said there are a range of categories for each car to enter with over 90 trophies awarded on the day.
“If it has wheels and an engine we want it there,” she said.
Lads and ladies are encouraged to enter their low lux, rat rod or modded out fourbie. Bring your rig down to the show, you never know – you could take home a trophy straight to the pool room.
“Tractors, trucks, stationary engines, hot rods, street machines, vintage cars – we will even take boats if you want to display your boat,” Ms Porter said.
Motorfest is expecting 10,000 people to walk through the gates, which Ms Porter said is an amazing boost for tourism numbers.
“The key thing behind this event is to bring people to the area, to promote tourism.
“We are also a not-for-profit event so everything goes back to the community,” she said.
Ms Porter said the past five Motorfest events brought in a massive $90,000 which was donated back to local organisations.
