An overnight search involving NSW Police, SES, the RFS, and other emergency services including a rescue helicopter did not locate Mr Karpinski after he was reported missing at 4pm on Tuesday, September 4.
According to police, Mr Karpinsk was last seen walking towards the bush near his home on Bobeyon Rd 40km outside Cooma, wearing bright purple trousers, a thick grey jacket and a grey and brown beanie.
Mr Karpinski suffers from a medical condition which may make him appear confused, police said.
Police have concerns for his welfare and believe he may be walking alongside main roads.
Police would also like property owners in the Shannons Flat area to check their sheds and out buildings in case Mr Karpinski took shelter in one of their structures overnight.
Anyone with information or who sights Mr Karpinski to contact police or Crime Stoppers immediately on 1800 333 000 or nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
