The Eden Whale Festival has released details on this year’s amateur photography competition open for all ages.

The theme is 'our history and culture' with an added sub theme 'show us your whales'.

Our history and culture is a theme that does not limit to people or heritage sites of Eden. Let your creativity go wild and express your personal take on Eden’s culture and history, perhaps through natural surrounds, pain, compassion, failures or successes.

Capture what Eden’s history and culture mean’s to you as a visitor or a member of the community.

Also, keep an eye out and lens ready for any upcoming whale action too! Enter your whale shots under the ‘show us your whales’ theme.

The three competition categories are; adult open, youth (13-18 years) and junior (12 and under).

The Eden Lioness Club and Harvey Norman Tura Beach have put together $600 in prizes to be given away plus an additional prize of tuition with professional photographer Phil Small will also be given away to one lucky photographer.
