“It could become a home for arts and community activities in the Bega Valley,” Friends of the Old Bega Hospital president Richard Bomford said.
At the meeting the current plans for the hospital drawn up by Sibling Architecture will be discussed and the public will be asked what they want to do with the building and how it should be managed.
Mr Bomford said he was calling for stakeholders to come along to the meeting. The proposal has the scope to include spaces for visual arts, music, drama, dance, martial arts, exhibitions, workshops, crafts and more.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 14 in the Bega Commemorative Civic Centre, Bega from 6pm.
