Bega Rotary has donated $10,000 from its recent book fair towards the carers accommodation development at the South East Regional Hospital.

Community Carers Accommodation South East’s Lynne Koerbin said the donation will go a long way towards helping to finish Stage 2 of the project.
The funds will help furnish the recent construction work, she said.
“The amount is more than anticipated and a wonderful surprise,” Ms Koerbin said.
“Bega Rotary has been a champion in supporting the project.”
Ms Koerbin said Stage 2 will be open in October, with Stage 3 planned for when the hospital is at full capacity.
She said the accommodation is being well used since opening to the public late last year.
“It has been well utilised, and at the moment we’re getting great feedback,” Ms Koerbin said.
Bega Rotary president Margaret Taylor thanked the community for their ongoing donations to the organisation, Rotary members, and the various depots which store the books across town.
