Situated in a converted video store on Hill St, the concept came about when founder Cayce Hill required a space in town to host her dance classes.
Since its humble beginnings, the space has over 200 members of all ages, thanks to the input of the community and grassroots organisations, Ms Hill said.
“The Funhouse has welcomed groups as diverse as Bega Valley Rural Advocates for Refugees, ACON, U3A, Sugar Sounds and Theatre Onset, as well as over 100 individual users of the space,” Ms Hill said.
“There are performances and filming screenings. The venue’s diverse programming is what makes it stand out in regional NSW.”
