Playing at their home ground at the Tathra Beach Country Club, the Phoenix ladies stunned the Narooma outfit to claim a close 24-22 win - the first of the season for the debut ladies outfit.
The result was made extra special given that Narooma seemingly had complete control in the first half to lead 16-0.
A Renee Hoare double before tries to Wrylka Colburn and Cat Hardy had the She Devils thinking they were off to the races.
However, the Phoenix ladies had other ideas with a resplendent second half showing to steal the victory.
Tarni Evans opened the scoring, then tries to Louise Strachan and Abbi Scott gave Tathra the advantage 18-16.
Hayley Talanoa put Narooma back in front 22-18 with just seven minutes to play.
However, Kylie Leung found the try-line and Evans again slotted the kick to clinch the 24-22 result.
