The senior men’s side is heading to Pambula to do battle with the Panthers, but the ladies roster travels north to face the Giants at Tuross.
Playing on one of the league’s bigger grounds, Saturday’s clash will let coach Kev May eye up any changes he wants to make in the half-forward line to combat some of the bigger bodies in the Pambula defensive half.
A fast free-flowing ground like Pambula plays into the wheelhouse of Tathra’s style, but it’s still important to have presence in the air to set up the men at the front.
Trailing the ladder leaders by just a solitary goal last week, the Sea Eagles have already proven they can match the best through the middle.
The onus will be on the Panthers to make the frantic pace the Sea Eagles can mount for the full four quarters.
However, the Sea Eagles will also have to be wary that the Panthers are coming fresh off a bye round.
The women’s team will be looking forward to a repeat match-up with the Giants at Kyla Park.
“It’s always exciting being able to make the trip up to Tuross and play a team that has proved themselves as a quality side over the last few weeks,” deputy vice-captain Eliza Terrey said.
The Giants were running well early last week before play had to be stopped.
“We are looking forward to playing a full game after last weekend’s match being interrupted by another injury timeout,” Ms Terrey said.
“We are all hoping Grace has a speedy recovery and is back on the track soon,”
