The Sea Eagles posted a convincing 38-6 scoreline against the Tigers, while the Candelo-Bemboka Panthers suffered a harsh 20-18 loss at the hands of the Bombala Blue Heelers on Saturday.
The Sea Eagles enjoyed their game against the Bay, coming out strong early with Leigh Radford picking up an early pair of tries as the visiting Tathra outfit were able to run over their hosts from the outset.
Then Tate Cochrane put in plenty of work to earn himself a pair of tries, while Josh Finucane excelled with the boot to clear the conversions with a 80 per cent hit rate, missing just two of his attempts on the day.
The Bay’s sole try came through Jacob Bradbury, while Murray Stewart converted the attempt to get six points on the board for the home team.
For the Panthers, tries to Jackson Whitby and hooker Jed Richards put the CBU club even against the Blue Heelers at the break.
A second half try to Haywood Fraser put the Panthers in front, but the visitors began runnning out of steam as the Blue Heelers dug their heels in to battle back late tries to Chris Halligan and Blake Stevenson.
The final conversion gave the hosts the edge 20-18 as Murray Jackson sent the kick through the posts to seal the win.
In league-tag, the Pink Panthers went down to the strong Bombala outfit 48-0 at the Bombala Showground.
Meanwhile, the Tathra Phoenix ladies suffered a 44-0 loss at the hands of the Bay Tigresses.
