Bombala High Heelers player Georgie Clarke will spend six weeks on the sidelines after being found guilty of contrary conduct at the Group 16 Tribunal.

Clarke was involved in the horrific incident that resulted in Lilly-Rose Bennett’s broken leg two weeks ago.
Bennett was running towards the sideline, when Clarke slid into to try and make a tag. The action of sliding resulted in the injury.
Group 16 chairman Allan Wilton said Clarke was originally handed a 12-week sentence.
“She got a reduction due to NRL and CRL regulations that allow for considerations for players that have never fronted a judiciary before,” he said.
Clarke will miss the remainder of the regular season, and the High Heelers first final should they make it that far.
Wilton offered his support to all the parties involved in the matter. “This is a very difficult time for all those involved in this situation, and our support goes out to both Lilly and Georgie."
