Speakers’ ideas will expand minds

TEDxSydney is the leading platform for the propagation of Australian ideas, creativity and innovation to the rest of the world and it is coming to Bega.

The theme this year is HumanKind.

Speakers include actress and LGBTQIA rights activist Magda Szubanski, unconventional Australian priest Father Rod Bower, Indigenous Australian writer Bruce Pascoe, thought leader in human-machine interaction Fang Chen and women’s AFL pioneer Chyloe Kurdas.

Held at the Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre, Bega on June 15, the TEDxSydney Satellite event runs from 9am-6pm and attendees can come and go as they choose during the day.

Tickets are $20/$10 and high school students are free.

The after party’s tickets are sold separately and are $10 which includes your first drink, a cheese platter and live music
