As a percentage of the Bega Valley population it amounts to less than 1% so not really the views of the community.

If a local pollie gets letters they multiply by 10 to assess its relevance in the community. So this attendance is equal to 3000 people concerned and 8% of voters is enough to swing a local election. So the 1% is not as insignificant as it first may seem. Andrew Constance MP will take notice.
