The Brogo Rural Fire Service (RFS) will be hosting a special fundraiser to help the Tathra Rural Fire Service on Sunday, June 3 from 10.30am to 3pm at Brogo Dam.
“Our hearts go out to the brigade at Tathra,” Brogo RFS’s Rosemarie Griffith said
“Fundraising for the RFS brigades is so important, and any help from the community is always greatly appreciated.
“The volunteers are an amazing group of people who work so hard to keep us safe, so when one of the brigades has problems they rally around.
“The fire brigade in Brogo is front and centre of our community.”
There will be a number of dragon boats at the event courtesy of the Merimbula Water Dragons, canoes from Brogo Wilderness Canoes, and people are also invited to bring their own craft.
The event can also be watched from the Brogo Dam wall.
