Canberra university student Madeleine Gordon joined fellow Sapphire Coast Anglican College alumni and United Nations Youth ACT member Jye Turner for a series of workshops at the school last week.
“I’ve always wanted to come back and bridge the urban and rural divide,” Ms Gordon said.
Bega High School Year 7 student Reed Jones took part in the workshops, and was keen to share his interest in international relations and history.
“I’m interested in the relationships countries have, and I’ve learnt that conflict can arise from the smallest things,” Reed said.
