Denis Myers stepped up to claim A grade with 38 points, from runner-up Derek Quinto in a count-back over Neil Rutherford – who eagled on the 18th.
Greg Cummins snared B grade with 37 points shading Rod Ashton and fishing partner Dave Cole who both scored 35.
Charlie Bennett had a welcome return to form with 38 points to win C grade. Michael Brown was runner up on 37 and Mick Smith third with 35.
Saturday was a stroke round with close scoring.
A tight finish in A grade needed a count-back to decide the winner which went to Henry Loth shading Noel Flavell, both scoring well with nett 70.
Winston Fowler continued his recent good form to win B grade with the day’s best of six-under nett 66. Derek Quinto was next on 70.
Arnold Watson had the C grade win carding nett 70 shading Michael Brown and Martin Fowler both on 74.
There is a club meeting before the four-man ambrose on Saturday, all invited.
