Played at the Bega Recreation Ground, the tri-colours will be looking to flip the script on their first encounter with the strengthened Batemans Bay outfit.
The Tigers stunned in the season opener with some polished plays and good bursts of speed on the fringes.
That was enough to sneak past the Roosters then, but captain-coach Ryan Apps has his troops well drilled and fitness at a mid-season high as Group 16 play heads towards the second half of the season.
A lot will ride on the halves combinations as that is where Batemans Bay have excelled this season with big name pick up for their club.
However, the Roosters boast their own dynamic duo in the form of brothers James and Callum Bower-Scott.
Callum has been adding plenty of impact for the first grade Roosters, while James is a talented kicker and whacks a mean punch in defense where he often tackles like a much bigger player.
On the back of plenty of go-forward from Mitch Carter and Jarrod Tamatea, the Roosters will look to open opportunities through the middle before the halves set up the plays out wide.
In other grades, the Candelo-Bemboka Panthers and Tathra Sea Eagles will both be looking to back up on their last round wins.
The Panthers will play host to the Merimbula-Pambula Bulldogs at Bemboka’s Colombo Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs shape as a smaller team than the Panthers, but it will be up to the hosts to contain the quick outside backs of their visitors – or use their dominance in the middle to run big metres up the ruck.
Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles will shape as the quicker team when they take on the big men from the Bombala Blue Heelers at the Bombala Showground on Sunday.
The Eagles are enjoying a purple patch with injured players returning to the ranks and key combinations starting to form on the field.
The Pink Panthers league-tag ladies will be in for a tall order when they face the ladder-leading Eden-Mer-Pam combine on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Phoenix are chasing their first win when they take on the High Heelers.
And the Bega Chicks will join their club mates in a home game against the Bay Tigresses.
Games will start at 11am at Colombo Park on Saturday.
Then on Sunday, the Roosters will be on field from 11am at the Bega Rec Ground, while Tathra is on the Bombala Showground, with games also starting at 11am.
