Bega Country Fair to return after the weekend’s rains

Postponed from last weekend, the Bega Country Fair is back on this Saturday.

“It will be a time of celebration and enjoyment of the autumn season,” Sapphire Coast Anglican College principal Colin May said.

He said almost all the stalls that planned to attend last weekend will be coming, and replacements have been found for the others that could not make it.

There are plenty of activities for all ages with face painting, an animal nursery, jumping castle, games, mini soccer, tractor rides, food, chainsaw rally, sheep shearing demonstration and more.

There will also be musical performances on stage.

Bega Valley Shire Mayor Kristy McBain will officially open the fair from 11am and there will be a major raffle prize where half of the proceeds will go towards the Tathra and District Mayoral Appeal Fund for the Tathra bushfires.

The fair was postponed from last weekend due to the wet weather. It will be held at SCAC from 9am-2pm.
