On Tuesday, May 8, officers from the South Coast Police District will be at Wild Orchid Cafe in Tathra from 10am as part of the Coffee with a Cop program. 

There will be no agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know officers in your neighbourhood.

Coffee with a Cop is one of the most successful community oriented policing programs across the US, where it first launched in 2011 when police departments were looking for ways to interact more successfully with the citizens they served each day. It has since expanded to Canada, Europe, Australia and Africa.
