The early risers who made it out to the Bermagui Dawn Service on Anzac Day were later treated to a gunfire breakfast at the town's country club.
The breakfast was catered by the local women’s auxiliary.
Bermagui RSL sub-branch secretary Roy Davies said there had been 500 people at the dawn service, which was at least as many as at last year's event.
"It was very good for being in the middle of the week," he said.
"Wednesday is usually quiet, so it was very busy for the middle of the week."
