The Supreme Court trial was due to begin in Bega Courthouse on Monday, October 16.
Ms Mackie has pleaded not guilty to the murder of fellow Bega woman Marnie-Lee Cave, 26.
Ms Cave’s body was found under Handcocks Bridge near Tathra on the morning of October 14, 2015.
The trial is estimated to run for five weeks.
