The Tathra Wharf to Waves will be held again in 2018, on January 20 and 21.
This year, 600 people take part in the fun runs, bike rides and ocean swims, raising $27,800 for community organisations in total, including $11,000 each for Tathra Preschool and Tathra Surf Life Saving Club.
The Wharf to Waves committee has opened the draw for local businesses to win naming rights of the weekend’s main event, the 1200m Splash for Cash Ocean Swim.
Tickets into the draw cost $100. Alongside naming rights, the winning ticket will also provide a place among the major sponsors of the event, including an estimated $10,000 worth of promotion.
The weekend is run by volunteers to raise funds for the community and provide a fun weekend for locals and visitors alike. To enter into the draw, visit www.tathrawharf2waves.com.au.
