A team of Year 9 Bega High School students raised almost $400 with a “Jeans for Genes” charity drive.

All students swapped their school pants for jeans on Friday in return for a donation.
Money raised will go toward research into genetic disease at the Children’s Medical Research Institute.
Year 9 coordinator Don Green said the project created a culture of charity within the year group.
