Powering ahead with clean energy in Bega Valley Shire

Clean Energy for Eternity is working hard to find a way to power the Bega Valley Shire and population in an affordable, clean and renewable manner.

The first step on this journey will take the form of a public meeting to be held in the Bermagui Country Club at 2pm on Sunday, July 23. The community is invited to attend and be part of this journey.

The people gathered together for this meeting will help the community find a path through the many complex new technologies now available.

They are able to offer insights and examples of how these ideas are already being successfully employed.

They include Ross Garnaut, the chairman of Zen Energy, and Tony Pfeiffer, CEO of Enova Energy, a social enterprise and community based power retailer.

The meeting will also hear from Tom Nockolds, Community Power Agency director, and from Karl Edmonson  (Reposit Power) and Harry Chami (Solar Juice) who together use smart technology with solar power and storage to cut power production costs.

With so much knowledge and experience available, surely a pathway forward will be found.
