Originally from Canberra, she has spent the last three years in Melbourne while completing her studies at RMIT University, and looking forward to swapping tram tracks for tree tops during her placement.
Her previous industry experience includes ABC Rural’s Victorian Country Hour radio program, Melbourne’s Southbank Local News and a six-week placement at Cambodia’s largest newspaper, The Phnom Penh Post.
With a keen interest in writing, reading and photography, journalism was the natural career path for her to follow. She loves to travel and learn about new places, and finds herself drawn to stories about environment and conservation, arts, history and culture, and social and community issues.
Because she’s new to the area, she’s eager to learn about her new community and surroundings. If you’ve got a story to share be sure to get in touch.
