Staff organised a Mother's Day breakfast, a celebration of family and motherhood, by cooking up lots of delicious food. It was a community-building celebration and lovely to see families sharing Mother's Day.
The breakfast was followed by a liturgy, a time of reflection and prayer. Afterwards students were able to purchase gifts from a Mother's Day stall organised by the school P&F.
This coming Friday night, 35 pupils from Years 3-6 will be sleeping overnight in the St Pat’s classrooms to raise awareness about homelessness. Woolworths is sponsoring the event and supplying the food, while pupils are busy fundraising at the moment.
