About 85 riders joined in the Bega Pony Club Camp parade down Carp St that morning.
Participants came from pony clubs in Bega, Bemboka, Pambula, Wolumla, Wyndham as well as from as far away as Delegate, Mallacoota and Moruya for the camp.
Bega club treasurer Lisa Griffin said numbers had increased at the annual event from last year, which reflected how member numbers at pony clubs had been increasing in general.
At the camp, riders from ages four to 17 took part in rotations of lessons, including jumping, cross country, dressage and camp drafting.
On the final day of the camp, which was Tuesday, the riders had a competition to put their new skills into action.
