She broke through the Kiwi line with ease, darting a couple of quick steps before making a 50-metre bolt for the line and scoring under the posts.
The highlight stands in stark contrast to Sunday’s matches that saw her carried from the field with a head knock and leg injuries.
However, Apps was in high spirits, sharing on social media that it was “just a broken fibula and a few stitches in my head”.
Until the injury, Apps had been instrumental in what went on to become the Jillaroos’ first-ever clean sweep of the Kiwi Ferns in a history-making win.
Apps said on Twitter she was grateful for the support after her injury “thankyou everyone for the love and concern!”
Unfortunately the injury will rule her out of the All Stars clash to be held later this month.
