The retired pizza shop owners bought a bus ten years ago and had it converted into a mobile home. They lived on the road for eight years before recently moving back into their house in Merimbula.
“We are going to live like normal people for a while and just go away for the winters,” Fay said.
They are catching up with Tamworth couple Peter and Lyn Davis who they met while staying at the showground during the 2015 Festival.
From the 2015 Elvis Festival they travelled to Tamworth with the Davis’ to attend the Country Music Festival and have kept in touch ever since.

“At the time I was just thinking of Les’s Dream and Faye’s Nightmare,” she laughed.

“We just love the atmosphere and the friendly people,” they said.
“We met people from Melbourne and Sydney last year and we have kept in touch.”
