Stingrays strike two swimmers

A 14-year-old girl was treated by paramedics at Pambula Beach after she was stung about 2pm.
Paramedics said the girl, who was holidaying in the area, still had the barb in her foot but was not in a serious condition.
Also, a man in his 40s was taken to the Bega hospital around lunchtime after he was stung at Merimbula’s Main Beach. There were concerns as he was believed to be on blood thinning medication.
