We Will Come to the Rescue features 11 performers aged 15-18 from the Bega Valley, in an action packed show featuring dance, physical theatre and gymnastics.
The performance is entertaining and engaging for all ages, and features a battle between a team of young superheroes in training, and an army of supervillains.
The work also explores deeper issues affecting young people, including dealing with social pressures and making life choices, and asks the question what will our current generation of young people do in their lifetimes to save the world?
We Will Come to the Rescue will be presented alongside the YFling company’s Oh Grow Up, with 19 performers aged 8-14 exploring issues around growing up.
Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre December 1-3 at 7pm, and on Sunday, December 4 at 4pm.

REVIEW, by Raina Savage, manager, Griffith Regional Theatre
Fling Physical Theatre's We Will Come the Rescue is a roller coaster ride of martial arts, acrobatics, comic book heroes and contemporary dance.
The youthful cast inhabit their roles of reluctant super heroes and manic super villains with infectious energy and enthusiasm.
The choreography is tight and fast paced, and the performers engage with each other through a range of moods, from menacing to light hearted, throwing themselves into the BAM Pow Whack fight scenes with obvious relish.
With some seriously talented dancers in the troupe, the show is an inclusive triumph that plays to the range of abilities in the cast.
We Will Come to the Rescue transports us all back to the days of beach towel capes and back yard battles when everyone could be a super hero.
