Organisers said the breeze buffeted shots and did strip a few points on the day, but there were still some strong results overall.
Nils B was a sole full bore shooter, but was just three points shy of the maximum, while Russell P headed the F standard class on 115/8 from the possible 120/20.

Nils was in a class of his own this week and while he didn't need to look over his shoulder he still went for broke and scored quite well considering the conditions. Russell showed well in the wind as well where he was well ahead of the crowd and with a good bullseye count as well. Further back it doesn't get much closer than Scott and Craig with Scott just squeaking ahead for 4th place. Chris came for a tryout and did well for his first time - we think the bug has bit.
This Sunday is a 500-yard championship prone round at the Tarraganda range from 12.30pm.
