Mr Llewellyn and Mr De Lacy are experts in the Wing Chun style of kung fu, while Mr Llewellyn is also a fully qualified personal trainer.
Mr Llewellyn said he had been a bit of a “wild child” in his youth and enjoyed the opportunity to give back to the community and share some skills on the day.
Attendees were treated to some demonstrations on defense and offensive techniques as well as some casual sparring.
Mr Llewellyn said students of kung fu live by a set of tenants and it was a great sport to take up that promotes discipline, self control and respect.
Mr De Lacy spoke briefly to visitors about the origins of Wing Chun kung fu and its origins with buddhist monks and the famous martial artist known as the Ip Man.
He said Bruce Lee, who later created his own style, had also been a student of the Wing Chun style.
