Organisers said the figures were similar to last year and measured a good mix of visitors and locals alike.
As in previous years the message was clear: this is not a race.
Safety was paramount for officials and a number of volunteers were set around the course to ensure the safety of every rider taking part.
Despite the non-competitive nature of the ride, some of the youngsters showed up the field as they reached the Tathra bridge in 44 minutes.
The body of the group was a little further behind, but most comfortably finished the ride in under two hours.
