A world-class instructor from Sale in Victoria, Chester travels to Bega twice a year to give lessons as part of his work with the Gavin Chester School.
The club wishes to say a big ‘thank you’ to Chester and all the members who helped organise his visit.
Don’t forget to come along to the Fossil’s Cup on Sunday, August 24, with $1000 prize money up for grabs.
The Fossil’s Cup is the brainchild of club member Jackie Curtis, who wanted to create an event specifically for the older members of the club to show that they still have what it takes as they look to earn a share of $1000 in prizemoney.
This year’s theme is ‘Grandfathers’, and two rings will also be operating throughout the day for other age groups.
A percentage of all entry fees will go to the Cancer Council, while a collection will also take place at the event.
The club’s next rally day will be held one week prior to the Cup, on Sunday, August 17 at Bega Showground.
