The Bombers opened up an early first quarter lead on the Whalers with a gusty southerly wind at their backs. 

The second quarter proved a battle to keep the Eden forwards quiet, which didn't all go to plan, but the Bega score stayed ahead. 

The third quarter opened up a big margin for the Bombers, who were able to hold out the last quarter for a strong win.
