A YOUNG boy has lost the surfboard he shaped with his father.
Sam is a 14-year-old from Kangaroo Island, South Australia who was on holiday with his family when the surfboard came off his car’s roof somewhere between Bega and Cooma on July 15.
He believes it possibly came off around Brown Mountain, and he is calling for anyone in the community who might know where the board is to contact him.
“I’m hoping someone might have found it or know where it might be,” Sam said.
“Dad and I are both really upset as it was something really special we did together.”
Sam is willing to “save up heaps” for a reward for finding the surfboard.
“I was super proud of it and loved riding it,” Sam said.
“We recently took a family holiday and dad I did lots of surfing.
“We started at the Gold Coast and surfed down the coast.
“It was awesome.”
