POLICE BEAT: Bega police report, July 17

A 36-YEAR-OLD local male will face Bega Court next month after being charged with low range PCA. 

He was stopped on Gipps St, Bega, about 7.40pm on July 16 returning a reading of .064.

Police are investigating the damage and the possible attempted theft of a motor vehicle in Minyama Pde, Bega, on the night of July 15.

Damage occurred to the driver's door and police are seeking assistance from anyone that may have any information.

Police are investigating the theft of a mobile phone and a small amount of cash from a house in Rawlinson St, Bega, on July 11.

Anyone with any information is requested to contact local police.

A 31-year-old local female was issued with a $550 infringement for failing to leave the Grand Hotel in Bega at 11.50pm on July 11.

Acting Inspector Clifton Scarlett said this is an expensive reminder that if you fail to leave a licensed premise when directed to do so by staff or police, action will be taken. 

A 34-year-old local male will face Eden Local Court in September for breaching a domestic violence protection order at 3.50am on July 11. 

The male was found to be at a residence he had been prohibited from attending.
