Eastman said it would be the first appearance of the open-wheeled 1200cc engine class on Saturday.
Eastman said the cars were light and dramatic.
“The cars weigh 400kg including the driver,” Eastman said.
“The lightweight cars and high speed engine makes for some of the best speedway racing and biggest crashes.
“The cars promise to put on a show never seen before at Sapphire Speedway,” he said.
The speedcars will be boosted by a full complement of racing including the Bega v Canberra 500 horsepower V8 challenge, super production, junior sedans, the ever-popular Aussie sixes and vintage cars will be making a return to the track.
Eastman is urging everyone to head along and enjoy a solid afternoon of racing at the track and kids are more than welcome.
“The jumping castle is back and free for the kids.
“[We have] full canteen facilities available, support your local race track and enjoy a great day of racing at Sapphire Speedway,” he said.
