Trades Assistant

Your new company
Our client manufactures and supplies mineral processing equipment to deliver natural resources to the world. They are currently recruiting for a permanent opportunity as a result of ongoing growth within the organisation.

Your new role
This position will see you working as a Trade Assistant / Hosemaker within the manufacturing team in Townsville. The key responsibilities in this role include:

• Building hoses to the required specifications
• Safe use of tools and machinery and ensuring their maintenance and upkeep remains to a high standard.
• Communicating any identified areas of improvement in the building process
• Read and interpret specification sheets, drawings and dimensions

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have the follow:

• Trade certificate with transferable skills is desirable, but not essential
• An ability to follow specific work instructions
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment will be highly regarded.
