Stonemason

Italian Marble & Granite Pty Ltd are looking for a skilled Stonemason to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Shaping, trimming, polishing, smoothing and cutting of natural stones (i.e. marble, granite,reconstituted stone) and its surface
• Using hand tools and power tools as required Measure and ascertain dimensions andmaterials required
• Apply glue, mortar or sealing agents where required to ensure granite or marble is secure
• Follow and understand plans and specifi cations for individual projects
• Ensure granite or marble is leveled and properly aligned using measurements in line withplans
• Resizing marble or granite to specifi cations.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Cert III or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Stonemason essential
• Experience in polishing, CNC operations, and manufacturing of marble, granite andreconstituted stone
• Excellent communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• Coordination and practical skills for using trade related tools
