Resin Plant Supervisor (Shift)

My client is a leading multinational paint and coating manufacturer focussed on performance coatings, servicing a number of sectors out of their Western suburbs location. Headquartered in Europe with a global headcount in excess of 35,000, this industry giant is continuing to grow, and as a result of internal movement, has an opportunity to join the business in a role titled "resin plant facilitator", a shift-based production supervisory role within its resin plant.

Your new role
As the Resin Plant Facilitator, this shift role will involve taking responsibility for day to day management of the resin plant, looking after a small contingent of operators. This role offers an attractive shift structure, and incorporates the following key responsibilities:

• Managing production to ensure the production plan is met in full and in line with in-house quality requirements
• Ongoing involvement with continuous improvement activities, with a goal towards delivering year on year improvements
• Active planning, support and implementation of training and development initiatives
• Managing production costs in line with operations budget

What you'll need to succeed

• Background in chemical industry preferred, within a manufacturing context
• High levels of drive and motivation, willingness to learn
• Existing experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally minimum of 4 years)
• Exposure to and experience in manufacturing ideology such as lean and six sigma
