The Role
Bega’s Ridge Street site is situated in the Bega Valley Shire, located on the beautiful Sapphire coast, southeast of NSW. The Ridge Street site is a cut and packaging plant, services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity, focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renown Bega cheese blocks- mild, tasty and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses and an exciting new Lactose and Dairy Free range.
Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Coordinator will work closely alongside a team of supervisors to coordinate and manage certain aspects of their team and keeping them up to date.
Other responsibilities include:
Overseeing and updating procedures
Coordinating staff leave and rostering training sessions for supervisors
Coordinate and oversee day to day operations
Assist in the upkeep and continuous improvement of systems
Ensure manufacturing documentation are kept up to date with correct sign offs
About you
This role would be perfect for someone coming from an administration or coordinating background who is looking to further develop coordination skills in a larger team.
You will have:
Strong communication and coordination skills
Great people skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Experience in continuous improvement work
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment where the focus can rapidly change
