Property Services Company in Melbourne’s CBD requires an experienced handyperson
Your new company
Based in Melbourne CBD, our client is seeking an in-house handyperson for a permanent position commencing ASAP. The role will be across different facilities in Melbourne’s CBD. This role will be suitable for a gun all-rounder with experience in all the tasks below.
Your new role
You will be in required to repair and maintain the facility and demonstrate a can-do easy approach to problem solving on the daily. You will be required to undertake the following, however not limited to:
- Changing light globes
- Checking and replacing emergency lighting globes and signs
- Replacing neon light transformers and tubes
- Adjusting doors and door stops
- Fixing and replacing Perspex door windows
- Replacing and repairing loose or missing pavers
- Mending trip hazards in paths walkways corridors etc
- Repairing minor plumbing breakdowns
- Replacing carpet tiles
- Minor furniture moving or adjusting
- Hanging pictures and whiteboards
- Patching and painting walls
- Remove/relocation of rubbish offsite
- Minor repairs to toilets
- Replacing taps and washers
- Air-conditioner filter maintenance
- Minor toilet/drain repairs
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualification (desired)
- Previous professional work experience as a handyperson
- Police Check (within the last 6 months, or willing to obtain immediately)
