Property Services Company in Melbourne’s CBD requires an experienced handyperson

Your new company

Based in Melbourne CBD, our client is seeking an in-house handyperson for a permanent position commencing ASAP. The role will be across different facilities in Melbourne’s CBD. This role will be suitable for a gun all-rounder with experience in all the tasks below.

Your new role

You will be in required to repair and maintain the facility and demonstrate a can-do easy approach to problem solving on the daily. You will be required to undertake the following, however not limited to:

• Changing light globes
• Checking and replacing emergency lighting globes and signs
• Replacing neon light transformers and tubes
• Adjusting doors and door stops
• Fixing and replacing Perspex door windows
• Replacing and repairing loose or missing pavers
• Mending trip hazards in paths walkways corridors etc
• Repairing minor plumbing breakdowns
• Replacing carpet tiles
• Minor furniture moving or adjusting
• Hanging pictures and whiteboards
• Patching and painting walls
• Remove/relocation of rubbish offsite
• Minor repairs to toilets
• Replacing taps and washers
• Air-conditioner filter maintenance
• Minor toilet/drain repairs

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade qualification (desired)
• Previous professional work experience as a handyperson
• Police Check (within the last 6 months, or willing to obtain immediately)
