This is a fantastic role for an experienced Building Estimator within commercial construction to work in the commercial construction industry across the NSW regional area.

A family owned building firm specialising in the construction, maintenance, extensions and modification and refurbishment of buildings in the residential, commercial, industrial, health and education and community markets in New South Wales.
Your new role
Report to the Estimating Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting design and plans and preparing detailed cost estimates
- Ensuring constructibility and value engineering
- Complete tenders for multiple projects.
- Creating project budget
- Preparation of Bills of Quantities
- Preparation of Construction programs and methodologies
- Creating purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors
- Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years in producing successful estimates and tenders for commercial fit out projects.
- A Bachelor or Diploma of Construction Management is desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Project and Excel is essential.
- Ability to communicate well with team members and clients.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
