Job Description

Reporting directly to the Shared Services Manager, your role will include:

  • End-to-end collections
  • Forming a business relationship with customers and sales teams through regular contact
  • Resolving credit disputes in a timely manner
  • Ensuring customer payments are received within a contracted trading terms
  • Maintain records on interactions with customer regarding their account
  • Providing regular, timely and accurate reporting for sales team
  • Present the status of the trial balance to the sales team or other relevant departments at regular meetings
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Provide inputs for doubtful debt monthly discussions
  • Drive process improvements across the "Sales to Collection" process by identifying potential process issues and suggesting alternative actions. Proactively train customers on the new policy and process to embed best practice ways of working.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in credit & collections, who can work autonomously and demonstrate initiative in all aspects of the role. The ideal candidate will be a trouble-shooter, engaging, and firm. Key competencies are listed below:

  • Significant experience in business to business collections environment
  • SAP AR experience (nice to have)
  • Experience with Account Reconciliation and Customer Payment Allocation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
