Credit Assessor

We are seeking multiple Credit Assessors to join the team in Western Sydney. The role offers first class training and the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and supportive working environment.

Your new role

• Ensure accurate and effective credit decisions are made in a consistent, efficient and timely manner
• Deliver excellent customer service and comply with all regulations and processes
• Responsible for the assessment and final decision for home loan applications within your delegated authority
• Conduct quality and responsible credit risk decisions
• Develop and maintain positive relationship with accredited brokers as well as your team and Seniors

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong understanding of loan application processes with residential lending and credit knowledge preferred but not essential
• Expertise in problem solving, decision making and resolution alongside excellent attention to detail
• An analytical mindset with previous residential credit assessment or other lending analysis preferred
• Commitment to delivering excellence and professionalism in customer service and delivering prompt
• You will also be required to comply with credit policy and be able to work well with others
• You must be results driven, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
• Clear written & verbal communication skills

What you'll get in return
You will be offered an hourly rate of $31.25 + Super and will adhere to the standard working week of 38 hours, Monday- Friday in Parramatta. You will be provided first class training, ongoing support to continue to build up your delegated authority and an exciting and thriving working environment. You will report directly to the Team Manager within a market leading financial institution with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role with good performance.
