As a Trainee, you will be able to earn while you learn. You will be supported with formal and practical training to achieve your qualifications in early childhood education. As you do, you'll be learning from highly skilled and experienced professionals who are constantly seeking to innovate how we deliver teaching and learning programs.

The Centre
East Ivanhoe, our 91-place centre is rated exceeding in the National Quality Standard. Located on Lower Heidelberg Road, the centre has access to easy parking and public transport. The range of resource-rich environments including a spacious outdoor area, a covered deck, natural play structures and a range of age-specific ateliers is where our exciting programs come to life. As part of the sustainability program, the centre has vegetable gardens, a worm farm and an active recycling program with the Richmond Exchange. We are proud to have such a culturally diverse team at and celebrate a variety of cultural events and holidays. As part of our strong community focus, the kinder children participate in a bush kinder program every Friday.
The Opportunity
As a part of our Trainee program, you will gain on the job experience whilst studying. We pay for the course, and you will receive an hourly rate for all hours worked. Upon completing the Traineeship, you will be issued a nationally recognised Certificate III in Children's services.
